carry
|
Start
with the Hip Carry but with the rings higher on your shoulder.
Next move your arm in front of child (as pictured) Making sure
child is well in the seat of the sling.
When first trying the back position it would be helpful to have
a second person to make sure child is secure.
This position is better for age 1 and up
|
Then
slide child to your back. The sling should be higher on the child's
shoulders
|
Once
child is on your back make sure you adjust the sling so it is
sung and secure.

Cradle
Carry

Hollow
out a hammock like bed and then gently lower baby in while adjusting
the sling as shown. Or you can begin in the vertical carry, then
loosen sling a bit while supporting baby's weight.
|

Angle baby
into the cradle position. If nursing you may want to get baby
latched on now. Next tighten sling around baby making sure he
is completely supported for a newborn and the baby's bottom is
lower than their head.
On older
children make sure sling is at least to their knees. You can pull
sling up around their heads for support. Great for discreet nursing!
|
If
you want added privacy you can use the tail of the sling ( in
most models) as a cover up.
